Hello Oregon Cyclists,

Recently I suffered a knee injury consisting of a torn medial

meniscus which will need to be removed with arthroscopic surgery.

So I am wondering if I will still be able to cycle after the surgery.

Is anyone cycling with a meniscus removed and if so, then here are

my questions for you.

1) How long was your recovery period to resume cycling?

2) How long have you been cycling with the meniscus removed?

3) At what level are you cycling?

4) Generally how is your knee tolerating the stress from cycling?

5) Do you cross-train by running and how does your knee tolerate the

stress of running compared to cycling?

Many thanks in advance for any replies.
