Teens for hire

As most of you know Madison and Jacob Chilenski are my God-sons. They have lived with me on and off since they were three years old. They are currently living with their mom. (Their dad passed away three years ago of heart problems.) My family and I have taken them on as a life-long project. We are the ones who have made sure they had bikes, equipment and transportation so that they can race. Racing has provided direction for their lives.

Two-three years ago we purchased cross bikes for them. These bikes were stolen part way through the season last year. (A big thank you to those who offered and loaned them bikes so they could finish the season.)

Madison and Jacob Chilenski do chores as much as possible to help "pay" for their bikes and equipment. But we do not have the funds to replace their cross bikes.

Madison and Jacob are very hard workers. They are experienced in yard work and cleaning up. They are also good baby sitters. They just turned 15 on Sunday. They are looking for summer work. They can bus or ride their bikes for transportation. They live on S.E, 139th (near Max) and I live on S.E. 40th. They will be spending most of the summer with me. If you have yard work, chores or babysitting please consider hiring one of them. What they make will go towards financing their bike racing habit.
