Thanks to the ladies who checked to see if I was OK after crashing today on the asphalt at PIR...actually broke my wrist and as time goes on, am only beginning to realize the pain I was in...and sorry if anyone heard me cuss any after that...
Holy aggro peleton, Batman! There was some serious pent up energy
unleashed out there tonight. Everyone was exorcising their rain demons.

It was Mike's idea, I just do the implementation.

Mike may try to take credit for stopping the rain, but we all know it's
really Candi.

I would like to thank the organizers and OBRA officials at PIR tonight for
the rain-free ride.
Thanks.
A big thank you to all the cyclists who stopped today and offered assistance to me on Hwy. 30. I was sprinting to the top of one of the rise's past the St. Johns bridge and heard a loud crack/thunk. Stopped and inspected my bike but did'nt notice that my headtube broke under the toptube and it proceeded to grow as I rode.I inspected it again after the climb, before the descent back to the 30 and the crack was nearly all the way around the tube. Thought it felt kinda fishy. Anywho, just another reason to love the people who love cycling.
Thanks to all who came out to Camp Harlow and raced on Sunday. We even had a handful of first time (ever) racers, and several new people to the series.
A big thanks to those who brought donations of food and money for the Food for Lane County drive. We will be collecting items one last time during the last cross race of the series, December 14th.
And a special thanks to Sal for letting me sit inside yesterday and out of the elements.
Despite my seemingly lack of intelligence this morning-while trying to type before having my first cup of coffee, and the heart wrenching cries of a beagle waiting for his morning walk and cat hunting-many of you looked passed that and sent me kind responses telling me what you are thankful for.
So, I hope to see you all at Camp Harlow this weekend, after I surface from a marathon of football watching, garage cleaning, and Christmas decorating. Also-don't forget your donations for the Food for Lane County Drive, I don't want to return to them a half empty barrel....
Thanks to all of the volunteers (too many to remember and list) and
riders for showing up each week and making the Thrilla a big success.
The rain definitely helped make last night one of the best Thrilla races
we've had. We hope everyone had fun, and hope to do it again next year.
Congrats to overall series winners Ryan Trebon, Stephanie Uetrecht, Wes
Fitzsimmons, and Jim Juenger.
Results will hopefully get finished and posted later today.
Thanks again to all the sponsors - Cascade Lakes Brewing Co., The
Center, Nancy P's Bakery, Westside Video, Chris King, Salsa, and Realm
Cycles.

Thanks for all your hard and quick work on the Banana Belt Results
Just wanted to thank some of the good people of our OBRA community:
Was enjoying one of my few road race outings of the year yesterday in
Eugene when an ill-timed jump of my chain sent me sprawling across the
pavement. Nancy and the OBRA officials provided me with great first aid
supplies and Norm Babcock's tandem partner (sorry, didn't catch the name)
volunteered to help me scrub. Chris Bright then brought me antibacterial
hand wash and neosporin to prep me for the drive home. Wow. Thanks much,
folks, your help was freely given and it was greatly appreciated.

Thanks to Brian Spears for loaning me a wheel last night at PIR. I only
get up to do one of those once or twice a yr and was super-bummed to flat
out of the break. Don't even know this guy and he helped me out! Thanks
much!
