I agree that loss of race venues is perhaps the critical issue.

I get emails from the Parks Dept. on Thursday mornings when we so much as leave a wee bit of trash behind at Mt Tabor. Neighbors complain loud and long at the slightest infraction.

While I do my best to run defense, I am concerned that one day one of them with just enough influence will reach the powers that be and that will be the end of the race.

We've all snuck off somewhere to relieve the pre-race jitters. The big issue
here is loss of race venues. All it would take is one anti-lycra track
offficial to pull the plug. Use the porta-crappers or make DAMN sure you're
not seen tinkling on Mrs. Smith's roses.
