A couple of quick notes about Larch Mtn Time Trial Sunday July 22nd, 2007:

The famous Richard&HeidiAnderson OBRA Time Trial ramp returns in all its glory for that TdF starting house feel!!!

The website has been updated with the USPS mailing address much clearer along with who to make the checks out to.

To help those heading to, at, or coming from Cascade, the six-day, and other events, registration has been extended through Tuesday night. USPS should be in our hands by then, otherwise, please use the online option.

Starting list will be posted no later than Friday morning to the website. If you miss the email check the website.

A PDF flyer is now available for a one page printout should you need it.

The weather looks great and so-far-so good!

Event #2 is complete - a couple of follow up comments are below. For now don't forget OUCH Event #3 - Mary's Peak in Covallis August 19th. http://www.eugenecyclingteam.com/marys_peak_files/marys_peak_main.html

The district hillclimb, and the Mt. Ashland events are also on the horizon.

OUCH Series Cup standings (following the same *general* format as the Oregon Cup) will be posted to the OUCH homepage shortly. The 2006 series standings are for Sr Men, Sr Women, Masters Men, Masters Women based solely on result times for each event regardless of category or age division.

Larch #2 updates:
We are going to revise/address/deal with how to avoid turning onto Grange Hall Rd and turning onto Larch Mtn road. A couple of riders went up the wrong way and most quickly continued back onto the CRSH. We'll look into options such as increased signage and perhaps Dan Henry markings.
Also in a first I'm sure, a video has been put together of the entire Larch Mtn course and will be posted with notes about areas of interest, stories, trivia, and where to and not to turn. This real time video will give veterans and novices the extra boost they need to push them over the cliff of victory.
There was some debris (including glass) just prior to the turn onto Larch Mtn Rd. we'll look into requesting some type of sweeping or blower tool along the entire CRSH instead of just past the start.
The weather was perfect - everyone loved it.
There were a lot of good feedback on the OUCH shirts.
The new TT ramp was kind of high for some, just right for others, low for a couple, but loved by all. Many thanks again to Richard and Heidi Anderson and their family for donating the time and resourses to make that happen. The ramp is hidden in the bowels of the OBRA equipment now for everyone to enjoy.
