Subject: Pacific U. Nike Maxdight Contact lens and Cycling Study

Hi Mike,

I'm a student at Pacific University's school of optometry. A
classmate and I are beginning a study involving cyclists and Nike
Maxsight Contact lenses. Maxsight lenses are colored lenses that have
the same optical properties as tinted glasses (ie amber, yellow, etc.)
but provide superior peripheral vision and contrast sensitivity. We
would like to find 20-30 cyclist who would be interested in
participating in our study. First, cyclists are fitted for lenses at
the Contact Lens Lab at Pacific and then wear the lenses while riding
or racing their bike. Next, the cyclists would answer a simple
questionnaire about their experience.

If you would be interested or know of any cyclists who might be
interested in participating in this study please let me know.

Thanks,

David Morris
