Subject: Medical Cyclists
Hello Candi,
Norrene Godfrey suggested that I e-mail OBRA to try and recruit cyclist for
the upcoming LIVESTRONGR Challenge on July 30th. I am specifically
recruiting medical cyclists that are either EMT or Paramedics that want to
support the Lance Armstrong Foundation. I could also use more safety
cyclist that will ride the route and provide a safety presence on the
course. If there is any way to get info out to your members I would
appreciate it. I am sure there would be some interested individuals that
would like to take part. You could use the text below to send to your
member list.
Thank you for your time and help.
Cheers,
DAS
Join Lance's army and fight the war on cancer.
One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime -
it's time for you to do something about it. The 2006 LIVESTRONGR Challenge
will be in Portland on July 30th. The Challenge includes a 10K run and a 5K
run/walk as well as the original bike ride featuring 10, 40, 70 and 100 mile
options. Join the LIVESTRONG Challenge and support the mission of the Lance
Armstrong Foundation to inspire and empower people affected by cancer.
I am currently recruiting EMT and Paramedics that want to be Medical
Cyclists on the day of the event. I am also recruiting individuals that
want to be Safety Cyclists (no medical credentials needed). If you are
interested in volunteering for the LIVESTRONGR Challenge contact the
