MTB fork pressure and shock pressure question

Quick question that I'm hoping someone will have the answer for:

I raced the short track on Monday night and had a blast. However, my full
suspension bike did not feel as nimble as it could have been.

My question is: If I want to increase the responsiveness of the suspension
(front and rear), do I increase air pressure, speed up the rebound, or
something else?

The suspension parts are:

Rocky Mountain Element T.O.

Rock Sid Team (air/ oil fork with lockout)

Fox Float RC shock

Please respond off list.

Thanks.
