Danny, while your evidence is merely anecdotal, those two could well
be totally unresponsive and others could still be active socially.
To get at a real understanding of the social networks they may have
developed, one would have to survey at least fifty individual,
randomly selected bikes (to reduce the "t" ) to determine which bikes
they had engaged in conversations in the last month (or some other
time limit) and perhaps how close they felt to that other bike... and
then there's the issue of familial relationships as well. I think
there might be a dissertation topic here.
