Hi everyone,

Last Monday, 160 racers braved the sweltering heat and lined up for the third stage of the short track series.

The preliminary results of Monday's short track races are posted at http://www.portlandracing.com.
I plan to post the final results on Friday, so please send me your comments/corrections before then.

Finally, it looks like the outside world is taking notice of the of the short track phenomenon in Portland. Not only did we spot a crew from the Oregonian at Monday's race, the series also received some nice coverage in the local blogosphere:

PS: Just a reminder that the series finals will take place on Sunday August 13 in the morning. We will start the first race at 9:00am and will wrap up the pro/elite/expert race by noon. Then it is time for a picnic, awards and our grand series raffle. Mark your calendar to make sure you don't miss out on all the fun!
