Subject: [OBRA Chat] Here's the scoop on the State Crit
The original race organizer has disappeared. I called the City of Gresham on
Monday and am really trying to finesse the permit so we can have the race on
the same course as last year next week. They have told me they will make a
decision on Friday. Clark Ritchie and Brian Witty will pull all the details
together if the approval comes through.
Plan B. Sal Collura and Richard Sweet have gone ahead and gotten approval to
hold the event in Eugene on the technology park course. If the City of
Gresham turns us down then the event will still happen, but in Eugene.
Either way I really ask that you support this event, no matter where.
Pulling it together at the last minute has been very difficult.
