Jim,
Thanks for putting together the race. I had a good time and made it to my
next event no problem. Thanks for sending me off early.

Greetings!

Heather and I wanted to thank all who raced today!

We had a great turnout with 60 starters!

The weather was good, vehicle traffic was light and there were no
incidents of any kind reported to me. No crashing. No peeing on
anybody's stuff, no littering...

I take it back...there were four people caught flagrantly crossing the
centerline cutting corners while climbing.

These four folks were DQ'd. I hate to have to do this, but it's
necessary to keep things fair and safe.

It's also necessary to keep the venue managers satisfied with our
commitment to safety and obeying the rules.

Hopefully, everyone had a great time and will be back next year!

Thanks to the Santiam Pass Ski Patrol who showed up with 6 patrollers to
patch up all those riders who insisted on keeping the rubber side down.
Hey, at least it was a beautiful day!

I am collecting photos and video captured by several EWEB team mates.
We will be working on a short video for the event.

Check back on our website periodically. If you see your pic, let me
know and we'll see if we can get you a copy.

Thanks again, and we'll see you next year!

Jim Fischer and Heather Paris,
Mary's Peak HC Organizers
