Actually, the entire race was very well done. In additoon to the
"facilities," the corner marshalls did an excellent job in directing
the riders. They were definite in their directions which is important
when you are over-tired and getting tunnel vision.
The cold water at the end was welcome as well.
Over all, a very well-organized race.

this course. This was the small hill on the first map that was submitted. I
had to deny the course because the downhill were in excess of 45mph in a 15
mph area. If any of you want to go back and ride the area, ask richard for
his first map.

kept going up, and up, and up past the finish line? It could have been much
much worse, but we want you all to come back next year, and... It was so
steep that the finish line couldn't be any higher because the FAA wouldn't
grant the necessary permits.

Just imagine that the race didn't even do the WHOLE climb. As you near the top, it ventures way into double digit grade. The decent is worth the climb. If you go into the homes there I believe it hits 22%. If I am wrong, I just mean it is STEEP!
