I've done it with road bikes in and out of Bend. Flying guys in for Cascade
with 2-3 bikes on one flight (smaller turbo-props) has seen bikes get
delayed until the next flight because of space limitations (there was only
room for one or two bikes at a time on those rather full flights).

Has anyone shipped a bicycle on United Express? United normally charges $85
and that includes the United Express flight--but stated it might not fit.
It is an Embraer.
I am only taking the bike one-way--any recommendations for getting it there
safely and least expensively? (Is there any way for me to get a discount
off of the $85)?
