I'm the rider who went down. I'm alright physically (I've got a bit of road rash), but mentally, I'm still mourning the loss of my bike and kit ;-) I'm just glad I didn't take anyone with me. Hearing your fork snap at full sprint is something I never want to hear again . . . Lee, great job capturing the action!
BTW, if anyone has experience warrantying Easton parts, please reply off list. The fork was less than four months old.

Now on a serious note: Amazing sequence! I hope the rider is okay mentally
as well as physically. It is one thing to crash as the result of touching
wheels. It is another to crash due to equipment failure.
Speaking of crash:
To the riders in the Tue 3/4 field who stopped and helped out Jeff Thompson, Jon Kraft and myself: Thank you. Your help was appreciated. My bike will get repaired and my wrist will heal over time (6-8 weeks: fractured ulna/radius
bones).
I am sorry the rider who caused the crash has not stepped forward with an apology. :(
