Earlier, I mentioned the usual District Hill Climb venue was closed due to
logging and forest fires on Mt. Hood.

** IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE OBRA HILLCLIMB CHAMPIONSHIPS **

Earlier, I gave notice that the OBRA Hill Climb venue was revoked due to
logging activity and forest fires.

Getting a permit for the new venue is not working out, and I'm now out of
time/options.

The Hilll Climb on September 10th is hereby canceled. All current
registrants will be personally contacted, and their checks shredded.

Candi has contacted the folks organizing the hill climb event in Ashland the
following weekend, and I believe that race may possibly serve as the 2006
OBRA Hill Climb. More news to follow.

The 2007 event will resume as usual on Mt. Hood.
