This is just common sense. If the race is far away from most of the
racers, attendance suffers no matter how much you may wish otherwise.
Mocking me will not change reality, even if it does make you feel
better for a few minutes. I suppose that the numbers will speak for
themselves in the end. I would prefer to be wrong and have a lot of
competition. So far, my experience is otherwise.

Is there someone in Portland with a van/bus(maybe a bike touring
company)
that could be used as a shuttle for Portland area riders.
Environmental and economical.
Or maybe portland should cecede from OBRA and form PBRA.
