Almost all of Shimano's small-flange front hubs are 40mm spoke hole circle. A good source for Shimano mechano-trivia is the Shimano Europe site, in particular:

No need to measure anything (usually). It's worked for me on lots of wheels, including 20" recumbent wheels and crows-foot lacing.
