I would like to personally apologize to each and every rider for not having an EMT at the first stage. Right up till Saturday morning we were hoping that one of the medics we contacted would respond. We had a station wagon and cell phone, and the rural fire dept was right on the course, but I wish we had found an EMT. I encourage everyone who knows a nurse, doctor, EMT, or anyone trained in first aid to contact Mike Murray and increase our pool.

I would like to personally thank Melanie Collura, and the Paul's Bicycle Racing Team. Without them, there would be no Eugene Celebration Stage Race.
