Assuming you haven't sold the parts yet, consider getting the battery rebuilt. I had my Niteriders (plural) rebuilt by the NiCad Lady: http://nicdlady.com/ . IIRC, they were about $50 each, plus shipping. It was a turnkey operation: I shipped the entire "bottle" to them, they cracked the case, replaced the cells, resealed it, and shipped it back. They work perfectly.
