Let us know what you find out. I don't have one but have read up on the
subject. I'm no expert.
I thought that the calibration of the unit to be time consuming and
awkward. Having to spin up to twenty mph and do the coast down on flat
ground seems uninviting at best. Then there's the weigh in at the start
of the ride with gear, full bottles, etc.
The price break looks good and the thing is supposed to be accurate.
However, I'm saving up for the PT.

I'm looking at getting a power meter and have heard issues with all of
them
Polar - funky, delicate and inaccurate
PowerTap - delicate and moderately pricey. Wheel limitations.
ErgoMo - Pricey and leg dependent. Locks into a BB configuration (no
one piece Shimano cranks).
iBike - Cheapest ($400) but???
SRM - Cat's meow, but most expensive. Most durable, too.
The guys at Rebound Sports Lab in Bend (Andy) have been riding with both
a PowerTap and an iBike on the same bike. The iBike matches the
PowerTap remarkably well from what Andy says.
I'm looking for info from folks who've actually USED any of these
products.
