Amen to Jonathan's comment. You have to experience that beautiful course to
appreciate it and the pain of that easy hill. This can be the most fun of the
season.

race the Mt. Tabor Series on Wednesday nights!
With no PIR this week, I hope we'll have an even
better turnout than last week (107 riders).

The course is a tough 1.3-mile hilly and curvy
circuit that encircles the
upper reservoir and passes by the neck of the
ancient volcano that formed Mt.
Tabor. All OBRA and USCF rules apply. Primes will be
announced prior to each
start. Lapped riders not eligible for primes. Warm
up on the course not
permitted after 8:30 am.
Scheduled start times and distances will be
announced in a future e-mail.
Race classes and Prizes:
Juniors, Masters 30-39, Masters 40-49, Masters 50+;
Men 1,2,3,4, 5; Women
1,2,3,4, and 35+ all have trophies and ribbons
Five-deep! Tandems have a
Trophy and ribbons three-deep. In addition to
trophies and ribbons, the
category 1-2-3 race will have cash prizes 12-deep.
Be sure to come and have fun at the Oregon's oldest
and most prestigious
bicycle race.
