I'll take a look at the server and see if we can handle this better.
I believe it happens when the email message is only HTML or only rich
text. Usually, an email client will send a plain text version along
with the HTML, but not always. We are careful about displaying HTML
because someone could theoretically hack the server that way.
If you experience problems like this using the list, please let me
know! I can't promise that it will be fixed quickly -- because I do
this in my spare time -- but I try and chip away at it.
