To the racer at Hood River that decided to pass me at the bottom of the hill in the rip-rap rock, clip/blow me off my wheels, continue to race without any regard, and then self righteously tell me at the end of the race that I was in the line that you had taken on every other lap: learn some etiquette and respect. We all have jobs and families to feed. We do this for fun not for money. Injury is not fun.

Etiquette Tips:
1) Learn to distinguish the people in your race category. (I was not in your category. I wasn?t even racing against you. Why attempt a pass in such a technical spot?)
2) If a racer is occupying an inside racing lane that you want, yelling and screaming for position from an outside lane does not give you that position.
3) If a racer is occupying a line that you want, going through them from behind is not an option. Learn to yield or pass safely.

Try to learn these unwritten rules and others. Your fellow racers will become your friends and not your victims.
