Someone pointed out that it appears Rock Creek Road is getting asphalt
and not chip seal according to this site. That's not the case - it's
actually Rock Creek Boulevard (in Washington County) that's getting
asphalt. Rock Creek Road is in Multnomah County (and was clearly marked
with the words "chip seal", as was Old Cornelius Pass Road). Do you
know if there's a similar page for Multnomah? I couldn't find one when
I searched their site. Thanks, Pam; it's good to know where this
information can be found.

Good idea to get a group effort at preventing this. At the mininium is
convincing them to use the smaller rock.

Forgive me if this is off topic, but my wife and I were riding Rock
Creek Road yesterday and I noticed it is marked to receive chip-seal.
Sure, it's not about racing, but I think a lot of us who like to do
hills train out there (I know I do). Just thought I'd pass it along in
case people want to put together an armed uprising; seems like another
popular training route succumbing to the evil of chip-seal.
