I too gotta say thanks to the organizers and race officials-
especially Candi.
That second batch of results came through at 12:20 AM. When I talked
to Mike, he mentioned that Candi would be going through the tape to
make sure everything was as good as it could be. Positioning 798
riders cannot be easy... that's hours of work right there. Thanks Ma!
That said, as my first cyclocross race, it was a hoot. No one ever
told me I'd be this sore the next day though. My back hurts, my
shoulders hurt, my hands are bruised, I have cuts and bruises all
over my legs and you know what? It was all worth it. Getting called
a sandbagger by a race official was also a laugh. Although- I was
told to race beginner!
I can't wait til it gets muddy.
