For Oregon racers that have raced only in OBRA events lately, the =

Cascade Cycling Classic is a USCF event, so If you would like to upgrade =

to a USCF Cat 3, you can do so through the USCF Regional Coordinator =

Dave Douglas.

To do this forward your USCF license to him along with a racing resume =

of races completed in the last 12 months. Keep a copy of your license. =

He will put an upgrade sticker on your license and forward it back to =

you. Send him a self-addressed stamped envelope.

His address is:

Dave Douglas

4207 SW Hill St.

Seattle, WA 98116

pazzo-@qwest.net

If you do not already have a USCF license, you can order one through him =

and request an upgrade by forwarding the $45 annual license fee (payable =

to USA Cycling) along with your race resume. If you qualify for an =

upgrade, he will request an upgrade when forwarding the application to =

USA Cycling. Unfortunately, the processing time at USA Cycling may be =

such that you will not have received your license before the Cascade =

Classic starts. You may be able to request expedited processing and pay =

the extra fee to get the license in time for the race.

If you have questions you can contact Dave Douglas at 206-932-5921.
