'Tis the season for teaching youngsters how to safely ride bikes on the
street, in the hopes that they will ride to school and to their
friends' houses all school-year long. Today was International Walk +
Bike to School Day and a few thousand kids biked to school all over
Oregon.
The Bicycle Transportation Alliance (BTA) has six more school programs
to teach this fall and we're still in need of adults to ride bikes with
kids on the last day of each program. We need adults who are free to
ride during the school day. The rides promise to have at least one
funny kid per class- all-in all, a fun and inspiring way to get
involved in the community. For more information or to sign-up for a
ride, just email or call. The list of dates and locations is below.
Thanks!
