Yesterday I sent out a notice to let people know about a special Hodgkin's Awareness Concert that is tonight at 8pm at the Bitter End.

I have more information on it -

Tonight is a special night for Pete O?Conner, a friend of Team Rubicon, 5 months ago he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's, he is only 22. Pete, his family and friends have gotten together, along with the Bitter End Pub, Rock bands - Schoolyard and the Young Immortals to put on a Hodgkin?s awareness Benefit Concert, October 13th, which is tonight.

Pete, is half way through his chemo treatments, January is his last round, inspired by Team Rubicon (we are so very honored) he decided to do a benefit to raised money and awareness of Hodgkin?s. The money raised tonight will be used to help pay for his treatment, but fortunately for him he has great medical insurance, so very little is left uncovered. Pete talked with the Oncology department over at Kaiser, and they have decided to donate the rest of the money anonymously to a family in dire need of covering medical expenses they are not fortunate enough to have the financial support for.

So if you have nothing to do around 8pm and can spare a $3.00 doonate and want to possibly win some prizes and listen to some pretty cool music - come by and say Hi!

Date: Tonight! October 13
Location: The Bitter End Pub; 1981 W. Burnside Ave
Minimum Donation: $3.00

The Bitter End Pub has made this a Non-Smoking Event so everyone can attend.

See you tonight!
Cheers
