The Real Slim Shady

Michael is the other Wobblenaught bike fitter in the area. In the years I've known him I found him nothing but straight forward and honest. As well, I believe his coaching skills are top notch.

What I know.

A year and a half ago Michael gave me a bike fit that
made various knee and hip problems go away at once.
He has always been very professional with me and as
far as I can tell well knowledgeable in his advice. I
see him often at races and consider him a friend as
well as a superior racer.

Until proved otherwise I will consider Michael a
friend and the author of this slander a gutless
coward.

Concerned Cyclist,
If somebody was to steal over 25,000.00 in merchandise from a business don't
you think he would of been prosecuted for this. That's a fair amount of
money and I don't think Performance Bikes would just say, oh it's ok we will
just let you go. I think it would have been more seriously pursued as to
where the merchandise went. I just can't imagine saying stuff like this
about somebody to his target customers and then not having any evidence to
back it up or even man up and say who you are.
Maybe your not a Michael Manning fan but this is just not fair to him and
his business he is trying to run.....Lets see some evidence that all this is
true or I think you should take back what you said and apologize to him and
his customers.....

I am very concerned that a person would use this list to slander another. We
have a legal system for these types of serious accusations. Once you have
won in court than you can print the facts. Until otherwise, you should speak
directly to the person you are in conflict with not broadcast your conflict
in public. You could end up in court on a libel suit. You have possibly
caused Michael Manning serious personal and financial jeopardy.

I am a participant in the CycleOne Bootcamp and I certainly do not feel that
this class is taking unfair advantage of any of the participants. Everything
about the class is professional and tailored to the needs of each of the
individual riders.

I consider the accuracy of information based on it source, and the fact
that "Concerned Cyclist" does not have enough integrity to show his or

True or not... statements like this can very easily devolve into expensive
and ugly civil suits. Slander and libel awards often blossom into
humiliating bankruptcy proceedings. Perhaps a more appropriate venue can be
chosen in the future for substantiated accusations of disreputable
activities that allows the rest of us to avoid the wonderful world of legal
torts.

Thanks

Why would anyone say something like this anonymously? If you have the
nerve to say something like this, stand up in the light of the community
to which you post and let your identity be known.
