Ron and Dorothy Strasser
These kids need to be encouraged not put down. I do not race in cat B, but
have raced with them in other events and been an on the course supporter. I
have slowed down for them in single track areas, trailing as I told them
what a good job they were doing (of course I also go to recoup).
I would love for one of the officials to hear some of the negative stuff
spewing forth and penalize said riders or even spectators that might be
putting the kids down.
It is so wonderful that they want to participate in this sport... and do
have fun. Our role as adults would seem to be to help make that happen. I
believe that is the case with almost all the riders and spectators.
