I didn't think racing on the course at the same time as the juniors was
dangerous at all. I enjoyed having the juniors in the same race as us. I
thought it was really cool to see some really small guys out there racing
thier bikes hard. There was never a place where I came up on them suddenly.
I could see them well ahead of time and I slowed down if I needed to so I
could pass them safely. I also tried to offer encouragement. Let's face it,
these are the kids that are going to keep the sport going.

My only complaint about the Jrs. was having 16 year old Rathe Jacob kick our
fannies so readily. That was impressive. Nice job Jacob.
