Wipe it with an oily rag and keep going.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Nicks in the paint on my steel frame cross bike

I scored a sweet deal on a 2 month old cross bike that had what looked to be less than 100 miles on it. After the Battle At Barlow and Cross Crusade 2 (4 crashes, awsome) it looks like it has about a thousand miles on it. There are a few nicks in the paint, exposing the steel, that I would probably be wise to fix. What is the best way to fix such nicks? Nail polish? Paint? Duct tape? I don't really give a crap about how it looks, but I would like to protect the steel from corrosion.

Thanks in advance.
