The only way that would be possible is if we decide that reciprocity with
USAC is not what OBRA wants. Our upgrade rules mirror theirs for a reason.
If we change our qualifications we can kiss that reciprocity away.
You riders decide what is of more value?

As it stands now a race must have a certain number of riders to count for
upgrade points (I think some limitation is appropriate):
Class Field Size
5 to 4 10 riders
4 to 3 Men 30 riders
4 to 3 Women 10 riders
3 to 2 Men 60 riders
3 to 2 Women 20 riders
2 to 1 Men 60 riders
2 to 1 Women 30 riders
Does anyone else feel that 60+ riders in a race basically kills too many of
current RR and Crits from counting towards upgrades? Don't get me wrong... l
LOVE sandbagging as much as the next guy (as long as Sal let's me get away
with it! ;-) )
I suggest at the next Rule Committee Meeting we knock it back a bit for CAT
2/3 men so we can get upgrade points from more venues.
