Dear OBRA:
We are pleased to be able to offer openings for sponsorship on the new
Capitol Suburu Cycling team presented by Santiam Bicycle. Our team is
looking for community minded cyclists residing within a 30 mile radius of
the Salem/Dallas area. We will consider junior and women from further away.
Keep in mind that this will not change our expectations for involvement.
We plan to offer three levels of sponsorship targeting club
riders/enthusiasts, regional competitors (Cat 3/Expert/Cat B and higher),
and pro/elite racers. While we are aiming for racers involved in road, XC,
and 'cross, we will consider other disaplines such as track, BMX, and
downhill racing.
Roster space is limited so please realize that we will be selecting the team
based on past performance, references, and your plans for 2007. An
application must include the following items: biographical information,
results/event participation record for last 2 years, proposal for 2007
cycling events/community service and what you offer the team, references,
and contact information.
Please realize that we expect members to be actively willing and able to be
involved in community service, promotions, team activities and events
throughout the season. Also keep in mind that if selected you will be
required to sign a contract through the 2007 calendar year and not be bound
to other sponsorships/agreements in conflict to Capitol Subaru Cycling and
its sponsors. Benefits may include but may not be limited to: training
advice, performance testion, ride sharing, tech/race support, discounts/free
product, and compensation for entry fees.
