Hello all,
I happen to have two trek 5200 frames (I believe they were the same frame
design in 2000 and 2005), and I was tossing around the idea in my head to
build up the old one as a TT bike, so that I could duplicate my seat
position from my race bike. In the past I've used a TT bike with a steeper
seat tube angle than my road bike's, but I remember reading that for the
grand tours the pros have been using TT bikes with similar/ the same seat
position as their road bike.

Does anyone out there have experience doing this? Should I expect to have a
problem due to undesirable top tube length considerations? (ie: what's good
for road will be too long/short for TT, etc). Any other comments on aligning
TT and race seat positions?
