I couldnt agree more with Darren! As the owner of two dogs, I have to accept
FULL responsibility for their actions. I have one dog that goes after any
animal is site either to play with or fight. Therefore, he is ALWAYS on a
leash when out of the yard! My other dog is so protective of me that when
out he is also on a leash when around other people that he does not know. He
is not vicious but will nip unless he feels that I am truly threatened.
It truly frightens me that in this LIBERAL society that we now live in no one
wants to accept responsibility where responsibility lies. Either from racers
that bitch when they are involved in a crash, blaming dogs when OWNERS should
be blamed, hikers blaming bikers and so on. Oh, lets not forget the
Sandbaggers that want to win at all costs instead of pushing themselves to
move up to the proper class. Afterall, its their right to have that trophy!
Want PROOF? No Cat 5 rider should have to maintain 28 MPH just to stay with
the pack! That is ludicrous! How do you EVER expect to gain more racers
OVERALL with that kind of mentality! That is not directed at OBRA, I havent
raced there yet.
I mean the list goes on and on! Ecological Elitists that think it is alright
for them to extract from the enviroment what THEY need and what they deem is
a worthy cause but do not feel that you have the right to exercise your
freedoms in the pursuits that you enjoy! It just TRULY sickens me!
The funny thing is, what goes around comes around! Someday when the Liberals
are going to be counting on their 401k's to enjoy retirement the Chinese or
whoever are going to pay us a visit! Then what will you do? Count on us
Conservative gun owners to put Bambi on your plate so you can have something
to eat? I think that I will just have to "Just say NO!"
Look, I own Horses, Cattle, Dogs, MTB, Road bikes, Track Bikes,Tandem, SUV,
Jeeps, Dirt Bikes and a Boat. Everyone of these groups pretty much bitches
about the other one. Instead of going after the other guy, join the other
guy. Work with them. Take responsibility for what YOU can do! Dont bitch
about what the other guy is doing. He may not have the conviction that you
do BUT you can do your part! Out of all of the groups mentioned above the
Horse owners are the most self-reliant group of all (I do not include the
City Slicker in that). They do not go whining and bitching at every corner.
They take care of their own and TRUST me are more willing to work with
someone else they respect. You cross them and you are DONE!
Wake up! On polical issues! Who is causing ever higher insurance costs?
The liberals in Washington! You ask how? The block TORT Reform! Try to go
skiing, basically over 1/2 of your ticket price goes to Insurance under
writers!
