Last night at Tabor two Cat 3 boys mysteriously went

down on the first lap on the sweeping turn off the

descent. I believe the strong winds had blown these

little leaves onto the course and this area in

particular was still a little damp. I did some

research and have found out the name of the Civil

office which was responsible for planting the trees

from which these dangerous off-branch leaves came

from. I am planning a class action lawsuit on behalf

of the Cat 3 field and any other racers from last

night. I myself am still feeling the emotional

distress from the whole thing. Please respond quickly

to become apart of this lawsuit ! If the city can't

keep the leaves on their trees then they must pay.

What did I learn from the OBRA email today? It

seems that there are a lot

of dog haters among bike riders.....

I have been chased by my share of dogs while riding,

but my greatest joy

(not since I moved to Portland from Bend however) is

taking my two WELL

BEHAVED dogs on a long mountain bike ride, off

leash.

Only a few of these emails have addressed

irresponsible dog owners and the

others come off like the dog is the sole problem and

all parks should be rid

of them.

Don't blame the dogs. Thats like blaming a toddler

who is not well behaved,

blame the parents.
