Lets see,- Maybe the few years I've been out of racing things have changed ? ...Back in the day; snowing up hill both ways in every race (funny), I remember master races being 35+, (& some 30+ races were frequent) to either size up the filed, or lessen the # of different catagories to fit in a day of racing ? Not really sure what the purpose was? I just raced & was blessed with the good fortune of being very copetitive & winning...The thing is- I never conciderd my age but, now looking back I was in my early 40's then, & now its late (very late) 40's...I guess alls I'm saying is; I was, & am grateful for all those who organize the races & set up the catagories...No matter how they are done a masters catagory is going to be difficult to suit everyone... I'm almost in the 50+ & was wondering if a guy could still race in the 40+?, maybe thats the
question?... Just thought an opinion from someone who was having to compete against 30's & 35's in his 40's+ may lend some peace of mind...Good luck to everyone in what every is decidedMaybe I should race again?
Best regards
