2007-03-15

Fellow OBRA Members,

We are excited about this year's Mt. Hood Cycling Classic as it is going
to be bigger and better than ever. Registration is now open and will
fill up fast so register early to be assured a spot. Last year both the
Pro 1-2 men's field and the CAT 3 men's field filled nearly a month out.

We have two new stages this year in addition to crits for the CAT 3/4
women and 4 men. The race format has changed a bit so be sure and check
out our web site for all your planning needs at
www.mthoodcyclingclassic.com No longer will the crit be on Saturday
night and there will be no double stage day. The crit will now fall on
Sunday with awards immediately proceeding afterwards. We appreciate all
your support over the year's and hope you will once again join us for
another epic race!

Sincerely,
Chad Sperry

Hello Fellow OBRA Members,

I wanted to take a minute to give you some important updates for the 2007 Mt. Hood Cycling Classic. My apologies for not having registration up on January 1st but we are working out some final details for the new year. We plan to have registration open on February 1st. We have some BIG new changes slated for 2007 that we are excited about. First and we are adding an additional day to both the Pro 1/2 Men and Pro 1/2 Women along with adding an additional day for the CAT 3 Men, CAT 4 Men, Masters Men, and CAT 3/4 Women. This means the Pro 1/2 categories will run Tuesday May 29th to June 3rd and all other categories will run Thursday May 31 to June 3rd. The additional day is a result of eliminating the double stage day on Saturday and lengthening the TT. This yearÂ’s TT will be amazing so make you are honing your TT position and training hard! Also new this year is the criterium will now move to Sunday afternoon and the 3 Summits Stage will move to Saturday. This wil
l allow us a warmer and faster results tabulation and awards presentation. In addition CAT 4 Men and 3/4 Women will get a crack at the criterium in downtown Hood River.

Be sure and keep checking in with our website at www.mthoodcyclingclassic.com for more details. Thanks to all of you that have supported this event, it is very much appreciated. I look forward to seeing you in May!

Sincerely,
Chad SperryMt. Hood Cycling Classic
