Last year most of the races had a 50+ sport. This allowed the 50 and uppers to race as a group but a shorter distance. John Howcroft and I decided we would downgrade from expert to sport. Ron did the same and so did Terry Knight. We are all competitive and who really cares if it says sport expert or pro. There are not enough 50 years olds to make more than one category so lets have a 50+ cat and leave it at that. It works for cross.

PS The really big news is cross worlds three silver medals and Ronda with an 11th. A great day for the american cycling and Oregon cycling. Carson Miller with a 33rd in his first worlds wasn't too bad either.
