CX Worlds Crash

Great performances indeed! It certainly would have been great to see Team
USA in action.

Here's a gallery of images from local races that demonstrate some of the
hard work and effort that got them to Belgium:

I am stoked by all the fantastic performances of the US riders at
cross worlds over the weekend. Oregon was represented well! Barry,
Erik, Ryan, Rhonda, and Carson Miller. I was so stoked to see what
Jonathan Page accomplished. That was out of this world.

If you have not read up on the story yet, early in the race, two had
broken away. Sven Nys and Bart Wellens. Then were both taken out by a
camera man that knocked a barricade out into their path. Totally
crazy. Especially considering Wellens was able to come back and get
4th, with a broken wrist. Wow! I saw pictures of pre-race barricades
meant to create a separation zone between the course and the
spectators. Didn't seem to keep them from hanging over into the course
or dumping their trash into the riders' paths. Looks like they need to
take some rider safety into account. Sheesh.
