As the 2007 racing season is looming around the corner, preparations of all kind are underway. In less than one month I will be attending the first training camp of a new UCI Women's team, Specialized Designs for Women.

At training camp we will put in a lot of miles and a lot of time on team work and tactics. It's amazing how much one can still learn after ten years on the bike.

Along with the work we do on our bikes, in the mountains, to be fit for the races, our newly born team is seeking members for our Fan Club, for mental and financial support. A significant amount of our budget and ability to attend better races comes directly from our fan club support.

So, I ask you as a fellow Oregonian and ambitious cyclist for you to be a fan, and help support Specialized Designs for Women and the goals my team has set for itself.
