Mt. Tabor Race Series--Final Race 11 July

Oops!

I meant to say thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Martin

(Brian's parents) whom I always refer to as Mr. and

Mrs. Martin. They are tremendous supporters of our

team and I apologize if I incorrectly identified their

first names.

I shall now go and lash myself 1,000 times with

licorice and then subject myself to riding in an

off-leash dog park.

Seriously though, THANK YOU MR. and MRS. MARTIN and

everyone else who have so graciously volunteered.

Take care,

Jonathan C. Puskas

I sincerely hope that everyone had a fantastic

Independence Day. You should be refreshed and ready

to race hard next Wednesday at Mt. Tabor.

I wanted to take a moment to thank our sponsors and

volunteers:

1. River City Bicycles has provided fanstastic

support of the race. They've for the Park Permit

(nearly $1,000), provided a pair of Spinergy Wheels

($700 retail) for the Category 1/2 Series Winner, a

beautiful Winner's Jersey (wool--$140 retail) for

the

Category 3 Men's Winner, and nearly $600 in Gift

Certificates for other category prizes. In short,

this race couldn't have happened without their help.

2. Vittoria Tires (and Peter Kukula) have ensured

that at least 6 individuals will leave with a pair

of

tires from the Series (in excess of $300 in tires

will

be given as prizes).

3. Clif Bar has provided free samples, primes, and

boxes of Clif Bars as additional prizes.

4. Everyone else who has volunteered. Particularly

Dave and Bonnie Martin who have selflessly

volunteered

at the Tabor Series for many years.

With continued primes next week, combined with

excellent prizes for the top performers in the

Series,

I hope we can exceed our best turnout of the year

(152

riders in Race #2).

The Category 1/2 race is up for grabs and a pair of

Spinergy Wheels is on the line for the winner.

Bring

friends and family to watch some great racing.

Take care,
