Hey everybody,

I'm starting to look for a mountain bike for my dad. It will be his
first mountain bike. If I could find something for him used that is
reasonably priced, he might be interested. He's about 5' 10", and not
quite, um, "OBRA build." I'm looking for an FS bike with discs,
definitely not a race bike (i.e. a frame and wheels that will not get
destroyed by a learner). Something in the $800-1000 range I'd say.
Anyone out there have something that might work? Drop me a line if so.
By the way, I'm not in any rush, just thought I'd see what might be
available. If you are waiting to replace your current bike because you
haven't sold it yet...
