We are presently recruiting for two coaching postions. One for the Eugene area and one for the Portland area.
The position of Cycle Coach is a contracted consultant position that provides coaching services to participants of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program, the World's largest endurance sports training program.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Develop weekly training schedules for participants at each level: beginner, intermediate and advanced.
2. Coordinate and/or lead all team training events.
3. Choose training courses and secure permits as necessary.
4. Provide clear route maps to all participants and mark the course as needed.
5. Establish water stop locations at appropriate intervals with a minimum of one station every twenty to thirty miles.
6. Ensure that all bikers have and are wearing appropriate head protection (helmets) during TNT rides.
7. Begin each session with appropriate warm-up exercises, stretching and announcements.
8. Ensure that all participants are supported throughout each training session and finish safely.
9. Be available during the week, by phone or e-mail, to answer training-related questions.
10. Assist staff, as necessary, during event weekend and ensure all team members finish the event safely and are accounted for at the end of the day.
