Velodromes

Senator Jason Atkinson has just informed me that Senate Bill 926 is
the measure to create two new velodromes in the state. I do not see
it on the web site but it should be up soon. Please contact your
state senator and representative voicing your support for the bill.
This should be a link to contact them if you need any help.

I'm sure we can arrange that - out back by the dumpster!

See the reference
to the article below. When the bill hits the floor
of the Oregon
legislature on Monday, I will be asking you all to
contact you state
senator and representative to support the bill.
Your ability to have
an influence on them will make this bill a reality.
If you use the
enthusiasm I have seen over a new timing system or
urinating behind
the stands at a race, we will make this happen.
The www.pdxvelo.org site has gone live. It will
keep everyone up to
date. If your e-mails are not answered right away
please contact me
directly.
