This seemed like as apt a time as any to plug this, so here goes:
The real Roubaix ends at a velodrome in wet, gnarly northern France. The Eugene Roubaix will end on a wet, muddy, gnarly road in the lower Willamette valley. Sorry, we tried, but it's a long ride from here to finish at Alpenrose. It will be a great, epic Flanders-style ride, with a long straight stretch of gravel/hardpack road, followed directly by a short, steep berg-like climb, a short, steep descent, and flat to slight rolling terrain back around again. Wind guaranteed. In other words, it will be epic. Bring a tough bike, strong wheels, good tires, and healthy legs. Equipment choice will be critical.

P.S. Fear not, for those who really, really want to end it all on a 'velodrome', there is an unoffical plan for a "sort of" "group ride" post race in the works, find a kindly smoker near you for details. Yes, Eugene already has something resembling a velodrome... and it's twice as fun. Enough said for now.
