I was racing in the Cat 4 field, and didn't hear or see this happen. It was
a pretty big field, and don't know where this occurred. Whoever said this
ought to cough up a nice apology asap. I remember Candi last year yelled
"Language!" at a few riders, and I think even though everyone is charged up
racing, we need to control our tempers. We passed my son out there and a
bunch of guys in our field cheered him on, which we both really appreciated.
Let's keep some class in this very dear sport to all of us. Darcy, sorry
this happened.

Foul language gets you dq'd or suspended or regulated.
Kinda stupid for riders to do such a thing, sorry you son got stuck
listening to a bunch of immature riders.
I believe what comes around goes around, maybe they will crash out in the
middle of nowhere and have to wait 20 mintues for help....maybe that's
immature of me but...

I don't normally voice my concerns in an open forum but this one kind of
bugged me. I just want to say thank you to the cat 4 rider(s) who felt it
was necessary to yell expletives at me, my 9 year old son, and the bloodied
junior racer in my front seat that I was administering first aid to. Next
time I pick up an injured rider, I will remember to bring my second set of
arms to move their broken bike off the side of my car as well. I would hate
to have seen what the response would have been if we were not able to get
them out of the road when we did. That was a fun one to explain to my nine
year old. Not exactly the kind of thanks one expects when they volunteer at
an event.
Cheers,
Clint
