The 2009 OBRA season is off to a great start, with more racing then ever. Don’t let that fitness go to waste. Treat your self to some desert. Cake that is. Piece of Cake. Yes, it’s back and bigger and better then ever!

The Piece of Cake road race on Sunday March 29th features the classic course at Woodland Washington for the 4th consecutive year. Flat, windy and fast! This year the prize payout is bigger then ever! $1500 to the top 10 senior Cat 1 and 2’s and $400 to the top 5 Women 1,2,3’s. Schwag and merchandise for all other categories plus boxes of cupcakes for all the winners!

As before, this year’s race is a “wheels in, wheels out” event, so don’t forget to bring your spare wheel sets.

Also, please don’t forget to thank and patronize the sponsors of this year’s race. These are the people who keep bike racing alive in Oregon!

The Piece of Cake Road Race is less then a week away! Sunday, April 1st, no fooling! Prepare your self?s for this classic flat land slugfest in Woodland Washington, only 30 minutes north of Portland. This years race features an increased cash purse of $1000 for the Cat 1 & 2s and $200 for the Women 1,2,3?s.

The Piece of Cake Road Race is just over two weeks away! Sunday April 1st.

I wanted to clarify that the Women?s Cat 4/Masters 40+ race will be scored separately for each group. Prizes will go three deep for each as well.

Also this year the Men's Cat 1/2 race features a $1000 pay out! Two hundred dollars to the Women's 1/2/3's.
